1. Minimum age
Stylium is intended for people aged 16 or over. You must not create an account or use Stylium if you are younger than 16.
Stylium is not adults-only. A digital wardrobe is an ordinary tool for teenagers too, so people aged 16 and 17 are welcome, with the safeguards below. We chose 16 because it is the highest default age of digital consent under the GDPR (Art. 8): at 16 and over, we do not need a parent's consent to process your data in any EU country, and it avoids the stricter, country-specific rules for younger users. It also keeps Stylium outside the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA, under 13).
2. Users aged 16 and 17
- You may use Stylium, including its AI features (which still need your own consent), if the law where you live allows you to do so on your own, or if your parent or guardian agrees. When you first open the app after signing up (whichever way you signed up), you confirm: "I am at least 16, and if I am under 18, my parent or guardian agrees that I use Stylium."
- In some places (for example Türkiye), the law expects a parent or guardian to agree to a minor's data processing and contracts. By confirming on first use, you tell us that you have that agreement.
- Paid plans. Buying a paid plan requires legal capacity to contract where you live (usually 18). If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must make or authorise the purchase and the payment method must belong to them or be used with their permission. We may cancel and refund a purchase that was made without that authorisation.
- Parents and guardians can ask us to access, export or delete a minor's data at legal@spacemadecode.com.
3. How we check age
- On first opening the app after sign-up, users confirm the statement in section 2. We do not ask for a date of birth or ID.
- We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16 and do not target children in our marketing.
- When the mobile apps launch, the age rating will be set in line with this policy (see our App Store and Google Play listings).
4. Images of children
Do not upload photos showing children, even your own. Photos should show clothing on its own. Children's clothing photographed on its own (for example for a family wardrobe) is allowed.
5. If we learn a child is using Stylium
If we learn that a user is under the minimum age, we will close the account and delete its data within 30 days, except data we must keep by law. Parents or guardians can contact legal@spacemadecode.com; we may ask for reasonable information to verify the request.
